Imagine a world where everything that could ever be wanted was a mere click of a button away. A simple phone call could give whiter teeth, straighter hair, organized closets or even perfect vision. Is this reality? It sure is, just turn on any local channel late at night and there are ads abounding. Anything and everything is up for sale. There are weight loss equipment, the perfect make-up or those pills, creams and ointments to turn any ugly duckling into a beautiful swan. The problem with all of those pills and treatments is that they are not regulated nor guaranteed by the Food and Drug Administration. Companies market things like pills to make eyesight perfect on the hope that someone out there does not want to be stuck wearing glasses or contact lenses and most certainly does not want to risk laser surgery.
